Water Borehole Drilling- What Is It?

4. A suitable pumping and piping system must eventually be mounted within the borehole.
How Much Space a Water Borehole Takes?
Water boreholes can be built in both rural and urban settings and they do not take up as much room as you would expect, quite often. Domestic boreholes, for example, generally fit on a narrow driveway, and are normally built to be 50-70 m deep and 110-150 mm in diameter.
Commercial boreholes are slightly wider, with a diameter of between 250 mm and 450 mm; however, they are not quite as deep (100 m) and still require a minimum amount of space. Also, the borehole will be fitted with a discreet manhole cover, making walking and driving over safe.
